Titans place second at TRAC Championship

On Friday, May 12, the two-day TRAC Championship wrapped up and the St. John's Jesuit Titans placed second overall. Leading the Titans was senior Tycen Anderson who placed first in the Long Jump and High Jump, second in the 100m dash and third in the 200m dash.

Placing second for the Titans were Justin Isaac in the 110m hurdles, C.J. Patton in the 300m hurdles and Elijah Kimmons in the High Jump. Anthony Moore placed third in the 100m dash, as did Nate Ellis in the 800m run.

The 4x200m relay team (C.J. Patton, Kellen Grant, Julian Hill and Anthony Moore), 4x400m and 4x800m relay teams (Nate Ellis, Kyle Parker, Isaac Munoz and C.J. Patton) placed third overall in their respective events.

In the 200m dash, Anthony Moore placed fourth, while Tristan King placed fourth in the Pole Vault. Kellen Grant, Eliyon Johnson, Derian Homer and Anthony Moore also placed fourth as members of the 4x100m relay team.

Next up, the Titans will compete at the District Championship on Thursday, May 18 and Saturday, May 20 at St. Francis de Sales High School.
