Titans defeat Trojans in overtime

In a tough league match up, the St. John's Jesuit Titans traveled to Findlay on Friday, January 5 and came away with a 3-2 overtime win. The Titans opened up the scoring with 1:22 left in the first period on a goal by sophomore Nicolas Meader. Senior Peirce Morrison then found the back of the net in the second period to give the Titans a 2-0 lead going into the third.

In the third period, Findlay fought back to tie the game up and send it to overtime. At the 5:27 mark of the first overtime, sophomore Liam Seiple scored to clinch the win for the Titans. Senior goalie Cole Kaestner continued to play strong for the Titans and finished the night with 23 saves on 25 shots. A complete recap of the game can be seen here.

Next up, the Titans will host the Mark Rasmus Memorial Invitational beginning Friday, January 12.
