Titans place sixth at Subway Rocket Invitational

On Saturday, January 6, the St. John's Jesuit Titan swim team competed at the Subway Rocket Invitational and placed sixth out of 15 teams. The freshman duo of Jaden Brookens and Jack Van Cott led the Titans with big finishes. Brookens placed third in the 500 yard freestyle with a personal best and fourth in the 200 Individual Medley. Van Cott followed his teammate with a second place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke.

The relay teams also had a good showing on Saturday. The 200 yard freestyle relay of Nate Smith, Andrew Titgemeyer, Van Cott and Brookens placed third overall and the 400 yard freestyle relay of Jonah Kale, Smith, Van Cott and Brookens took fourth.

The Titans return to practice before traveling to Fremont Ross on Tuesday, January 16.
