Weekly Lacrosse Review

The St. John's Jesuit varsity lacrosse team fell to Sylvania Southview on Wednesday. The Titans took a 2-1 lead but the Cougars responded with a 17-7 victory. Senior Nate Miller led the Titans with two goals and one assist.

On Saturday, the Titans traveled to Strongsville to face a division opponent and took a 5-2 lead into halftime. The Mustangs fought back in the second half and tied the game 9-9. SJJ fought hard but eventually fell 10-9 in overtime. Miller led the Titans with four goals.

The JV lacrosse team continued their strong season with wins over Sylvania Southview and Strongsville. On Wednesday, junior Jacob Guilford had a complete game shutout as the Titans defeated Southview 11-0. The Titans then traveled to Strongsville and came away with a convincing 9-2 win.

SJJ's JV B lacrosse team faced a much improved Perrysburg team on Tuesday. The game went back and forth, with the eventual OT winner scored by freshman midfielder William Judy to secure a 4-3 win.
