Hockey: Phil Rauch

Phil Rauch

  Varsity Assistant Coach

Coach Phil Rauch is in his third year as an assistant coach with St. John's Jesuit. He played two years in the NAHL and was voted best defenseman by his teammates in 2005-06. In 2006-07, he won a national championship as team captain and was coached by NHL coach Jon Cooper. Coach Rauch then went on to play four years at Canisius College. He was named team captain his senior year and was named to the Atlantic All-Academic team all four years.

From 2011-14, Coach Rauch played in the ECHL for the Toledo Walleye, playing in a total of 169 games. Rauch holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and is a project manager at Industrial Power Systems in Rossford, Ohio. He is married with one son and one daughter.
