Lyden Stadium / Fred Beier Field / Baseball Field / Outdoor Complex

Lyden Field was constructed in 2011 and renovated in 2024. Renovations included upgrades to the turf, track, and scoreboard, as well as new concessions and bathrooms. The state-of-the-art turf complex also includes a track, long jump, high jump, and pole vaulting pit. St. John’s Jesuit hosted its first football home game in 2012. Future plans for the facility include locker rooms, training room and film room. Lyden Stadium also plays host to soccer, lacrosse, and track and field.

The SJJ Baseball Field has seen numerous renovations over the past 10 years. A new mound, scoreboard, outfield fence and foul poles were installed, along with extending the backstop and leveling of the field. New sprinkler and irrigation systems were previously added as well.

The SJJ Practice Field is used for soccer, lacrosse, and track & field. The full length soccer and lacrosse field also has areas for shot put and discus. Updated sprinkler and irrigation system were also recently installed.
