September 9 marked the start of TRAC play as well as Senior Night for St. John's Jesuit as the Titans hosted Lima Senior.
The Titans took a 14-0 lead at the end of the first quarter on a rushing TD from
Caleb Kelly and a 46-yard pass from
Blake Lichtenberg to
Tommy Gallagher. Lichtenberg then connected with
Matty Swift for a 65-yard touchdown and ran it in from 1-yard out. To close out the half,
Justyn Toler returned a Lima punt for a touchdown. SJJ extended the lead in the fourth with a second Lichtenberg to Swift TD.
Eric Brooks 1-yard touchdown run capped off the scoring, as the Titans defeated the Spartans, 48-13.
Next, the Titans will travel to Central Catholic on Friday, September 16.
