Titans Win Inaugural CHSL Bishop Championship

In their inaugural season, the Titans win the CHSL Bishop Championship in penalty kicks.

After playing short-handed for nearly 70 minutes, the St. John's Jesuit soccer team won its first Catholic High School League title, defeating Orchard Lake St. Mary's in the sixth round of penalty kicks in the Bishop Championship on Wednesday at Riverview Gabriel Richard High School after playing to a tie at 3 in regulation and overtime.

Abed Taleb went top shelf to convert St. John's sixth-round PK attempt. Goalkeeper Benjamin Zetocha then deflected the must-make attempt from St. Mary's to secure victory for the Titans, who won despite having three players draw red cards between the 31st and 64th minutes.
