The St. John's Jesuit track and field team started the 2023 season with a first place finish at the Huron Relays, held at Eastern Michigan University.
Placing first were
Caleb Kelly in the 60m dash and
Connor King in the pole vault. The 4x200m relay team of Kelly,
Trey Miller,
Jordan Taylor and
K'Juan Fitzgerald also placed first for the Titans.
Second place finishers included
AJ Schuller in the shot put,
Joseph Taylor in the 400m dash, and the 4x400m relay team of
Tre Green,
Joseph Taylor,
Caleb Root and
Zach Sexton.
Trevor Obeto (High Jump) and
Trey Miller (60m Hurdles) placed third overall.
Next, the Titans will travel to St. Francis on Monday, April 3.
