Baseball Facility Enhancement Initiative

The St. John's Jesuit baseball program continues to build on a proud tradition of excellence, highlighted by five district titles and the school's first-ever Regional Championship and Final Four appearance in 2021. Under the leadership of Head Coach Sam Fischer, the Titans are taking the next step forward with the Baseball Facility Enhancement Initiative — a multi-phase project focused on improving safety, performance, and community pride.

Phase One, now underway, includes turfing the infield and bullpens, new fencing and dugouts, a warning track down both fence lines, and a new press box. These major improvements have been made possible through the generous donations of the Croak family, whose commitment to St. John's Jesuit and Titan athletics helped launch this important project.

"This project is about more than facilities — it's about opportunity," said Bob Ronai, St. John's Jesuit Athletic Director. "We're investing in a space that gives our players the tools to compete at the highest level while bringing our community together to celebrate Titan Baseball."

With Phase One progressing, plans are already being made for Phase Two — an indoor training facility featuring batting cages, pitching mounds, locker rooms, and coaches' offices.

"We are so fortunate and grateful for the upgrades to our baseball field," said Head Coach Sam Fischer. "Our players have always worked very hard, and I'm excited to see how the passion and excitement around the facility upgrades makes those efforts stronger."

Those interested in supporting Phase Two of the Baseball Facility Enhancement Initiative are encouraged to contact Nick Butler, St. John's Jesuit Vice President of Advancement, for more information on how to contribute.
