The St. John's Jesuit lacrosse team began postseason play on May 16 with a 12-5 win over Ottawa Hills, led by
Alexander Speer and
Drew Duesing. Speer scored five goals, becoming the all-time leading scorer in SJJ history with 164 career goals!Â
Duesing added five points in the win (4 goals, 1 assist), and goalie
Braylon Lewis recorded nine saves.
Tyler Zetocha (6),
Owen Strayer (4), and
Mason Bowers (4) each had four or more ground balls in the game.
Rex Grover recorded a career high three CTs in the game.Â
Next, SJJ will host St. Francis on Wednesday, May 21 at 7 p.m. Â
