In the final week of the regular season, the St. John's Jesuit tennis team recorded three wins to finish the regular season 15-0 overall.
On Tuesday, May 5, the Titans defeated Central Catholic, 5-0. Winning for the Titans were
Miles Green (6-2, 6-2),
Logan McGurk (6-1, 6-0),
Sam Roberts (6-1, 6-1),
Zenonn Zaleski /
Kameel Mawad (6-1, 6-1), and
Wasay Syed /
Nyle Ahmed (6-1, 6-1).Â
SJJ then defeated Perrysburg, 5-0, on Thursday, May 7.
Rounding out the week, the Titans hosted Massillon Jackson on Saturday, winning 3-2. Green (6-1, 6-1), McGurk (6-1, 6-1), and
Adam Darwich (6-1, 4-6, 6-1) won for the Titans.
Next, SJJ will compete in the Sectional Tournament on May 14 and 16 at Fremont Ross High School.
