Head Crew Coach Will Bridges is set to begin his second year at the helm entering the 2026 season.
In 2025-26, the Novice 8+ finished the fall season with a first place finish at the Head of the Hooch in Chattanooga, TN. Spring 2026 highlights included the Junior 8+ finishing fifth at the Midwest Scholastic Rowing Championship.
Bridges came to St. John's from the Olentangy Rowing Club where he was named the head coach in 2023.
From 2018 – 2022, Bridges was a member of The Ohio State University crew team.
He began as an assistant coach with Olentangy in 2022 before taking over as head coach in 2023. Under his watch, the team grew from 40 to 60+ members and the men's team increased from 12 to 30+ members.
