On December 11, 2024, Joe Horn was named the sixth head football coach at St. John's Jesuit High School.

Horn served as the Offensive Coordinator at Anthony Wayne High School in 2023 and 2024. Throughout his time as OC, the Generals improved from 27.5 PPG to 39.5 PPG and compiled a 22-4 overall record.

"St. John's Jesuit has all the right pieces for success—outstanding facilities, a winning tradition, supportive alumni, and dedicated student-athletes. I'm excited to build on this strong foundation and help create something special that will last for years to come," said Horn.

"Joe brings a wealth of experience and success as he takes over as SJJ's head football coach. He is very innovative, has a passion for football, and is a student of the game," said Director of Athletics Bob Ronai.

Horn began his coaching career at Ashland University (D-II) in 2014 as the Wide Receivers Coach, before coaching wide receivers and quarterbacks at Tiffin University (D-II) from 2016 – 2020. He then spent one season each at Colgate University (D-I FCS) and East Tennessee State University (D-I FCS) in 2021 and 2022 as the WR Coach. While at the collegiate level, Horn coached three conference champions, three All-Americans, and 10 All-Conference players.

SJJ President Karl Ertle said, "We are blessed that a man of his caliber with his coaching pedigree will be leading our team beginning today. I know that Joe will make an impact in the lives of our student-athletes far beyond the X's and O's as he guides them to become Men for Others. We welcome Joe and his family to the Titan family!"

A 2010 graduate of Ashland University, Horn is the all-time leading wide receiver in receptions, yards, and touchdowns. He was also a 12x NCAA All-American in Track & Field (100m, 200m, 4x100m Relay, 4x400m Relay).

In 2011, Horn joined the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent before playing with the Cleveland Gladiators (AFL) in 2012.

Horn was inducted into the Ashland University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2021 as both a football and track & field athlete. He is currently one of 27 multi-sport Hall of Famers.
