Coach Steve Hankish is entering his second season with St. John's Jesuit and joined the SJJ football staff with 28 years of experience. He has previously coached at Fremont St. Joe's, Genoa, Gibsonburg, Lake and Springfield. Coach Hankish has served as Defensive Coordinator for the past 13 years, a role he has also taken on at SJJ, as well as coaching the Safeties.
As a graduate of Perrysburg High School, Coach Hankish played on two undefeated football teams. He then obtained his Associates Degree in Building Maintenance from Owens Community College in 2010.
He and his wife Cheryl have three children, Josh, Stephanie and Jake, and are the proud grandparents to Macy.
