SJJ varsity football opened the 2019 season with a 42-21 win over Bowling Green on Friday, August 30. Junior quarterback Braydon Lichtenberg completed the first half with four touchdowns while passing for 308 yards. Lichtenberg connected with juniors Carson Toth and Thomas Zsiros, as well as seniors Dimitri Mitsopoulos and Jack Ryder for TD's, while Toth also rushed for one. 

In the second half, freshman Blake Lichtenberg connected with Zsiros for a 39-yard touchdown. The Titan defense held Bowling Green to 270 total yards, and forced a fumble and two turnovers.
