Titans place fourth at TRAC Championship

On Saturday, January 18, the St. John's Jesuit Titans competed at the TRAC Championship and placed fourth overall.

Multiple Titans scored crucial points, including the 200 yard Medley Relay team (Josh Van Cott, Jack Van Cott, Jaden Brookens and Cole Kovacs) who placed second. Also placing second was freshman Cory Shade in the 1M Diving.

Junior Jack Van Cott finished as the TRAC Champion in the 100 yard Breaststroke with a time of 59.66. He also went on to place fifth in the 200 yard Freestyle.

In the 200 yard Individual Medley, Jaden Brookens placed fourth (2:06.54). Brookens was also part of the fourth place 400 yard Freestyle Relay team, along with Josh Van Cott, Cole Kovacs and Jack Van Cott. Josh Van Cott also added a fifth place finish in the 100 yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:05.57.

Austin Reed, Alex Britt and Ian Stawinski recorded top 10 finishes in the 100 yard Backstroke. 

Come out and support the Titans at the University of Toledo Rec Center on Tuesday, January 21 for Senior Night! The meet will begin at 6 p.m. with senior introductions starting at 5:30 p.m.
