The Titan Swim & Dive team competed at Oak Habor High School at the Subway Rocket Invitational, placing sixth overall. Senior
Edward Nyman III placed first and freshman teammate
Devin Switzenberg placed fourth in the 1-Meter Diving.
The 200 Medley relay team of
Alex Miller,
Jacob Bassler,
Joel Hernandez, and
Sam Blanchong finished seventh with a time of 1:49.87 and a second 200 Medley relay team of
Johnny LaCouver,
Milo Ligman,
Everett Motzel, and
Gavin Cansky placed 11th overall.
Bassler also placed eighth in the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 Butterfly. Hernandez finished seventh in the 50 Freestyle and fifth in the 100 Freestyle. Miller placed 12
th in the 100 Butterfly and sixth overall in the 100 Backstroke. In the 100 Breaststroke, Blanchong finished ninth, while
Emery Strauss placed 10
th.
The 200 Freestyle relay of LaCouver, Ligman, Motzel, and Strauss placed 11th. The 400 Freestyle relay then closed the meet with Hernandez, Blanchong, Miller, and Bassler finishing seventh overall.
Next, the Titans will travel to Fremont Ross on Tuesday, January 14 to compete against Perrysburg and Fremont Ross.
