On Thursday, January 23, the St. John's Jesuit Titans traveled to Port Clinton and came away with an 88-64 victory. The 200 Medley Relay of
Alex Miller,
Emery Strauss,
Jacob Bassler, and
Joel Hernandez started the meet of strong, placing first. Hernandez and Strauss placed first and second in the 200 Individual Medley, while Bassler followed with a first in the 100 Butterfly and the 100 Breaststroke. The 200 Freestyle Relay of Hernandez, Strauss,
Sam Blanchong, and
Carson Caldwell also placed first.
The Titans then placed fourth at the NWOAC Championship on Saturday, January 25.
Edward Nyman III was the 2025 NWOAC Diving champion and teammate
Devin Switzenberg followed, placing third. The 200 Medley Relay of Miller, Caldwell, Bassler, and Hernandez placed second with a time of 1:48.48. Bassler placed second in the 200 Individual Medley and sixth in the 100 Breaststroke. Hernandez placed fifth in the 50 Freestyle and sixth in the 500 Freestyle. Caldwell placed fourth in the 100 Breaststroke. The 400 Freestyle Relay finished the meet placing sixth (Hernandez, Blanchong, Strauss, and Bassler).
