On January 18 and 19, the St. John's Jesuit wrestling team competed at the Catholic Invitational Tournament, held at Cincinnati Elder High School. Senior
Caleb Bowman led the Titans going 5-0 to claim the CIT Championship! Junior
Max Beck finished 4-2 and placed fourth overall. Also earning wins were
Gavin DeGroff,
Boston Johnson,
Lucas Wagenhauser,
Paul Amend,
Salar Hashemian, and
Kai Cogswell.
The Titans then competed at the Jesuit Cup on January 25, hosted by St. Ignatius High School, where
Caleb Bowman earned his 100th career win! Bowman, Beck,
Jackson Keiffer,
Martin Kummer, and
Xavier Webert earned wins over Walsh Jesuit. In the second dual vs. St. Ignatius, Beck, Bowman, Amend, and
Camryn Gomez scored.
Next, SJJ will compete at the CHSL Championship on Saturday, February 1.
