Titans defeat Pirates and Eagles at Tri-Meet

The Titan swim team kicked off the new year by defeating the Perkins Pirates, 116-66, and the Clay Eagles, 111-69, on January 2.

The 200 Medley Relay took first place with a time of 1:50.95 thanks to Alex Miller, Carson Caldwell, Jacob Bassler, and Joel Hernandez. Jacob Bassler also placed first in the 200 and 500 Freestyle. In the 100 Backstroke, Alex Miller placed first for the Titans.

Devin Switzenberg led the Titans with a first place finish in the 1-Meter Diving. Additionally, Carson Caldwell and Emery Strauss finished first and second in the 100 Breaststroke. The Titans then closed the meet with a first place finish in the 400 Freestyle Relay (Hernandez, Miller, Caldwell, and Jacob Bassler). 

Next, SJJ will travel to Oak Harbor on Friday, January 10 and Saturday, January 11 to compete at the Subway Rocket Invitational.
